Think about making a salad consisting of tomatoes, basil, garlic, and pine
nuts. All four have aphrodisiac qualities. Tomatoes are also called “love apples,” and were considered aphrodisiacs by early European settlers. Basil can increase sex drive and increase blood flow to the penis. Garlic also increases circulation throughout your body, which can increase the likelihood of an erection. Pine nuts have been called an aphrodisiac since the Middle Ages, when they were given to men with performance anxiety to stimulate an erection.
Do you like oysters? A commonly known aphrodisiac they can increase libido in both sexes because of all the zinc, iodine, and phosphorous. Not a fan of oysters, try shrimp, it can increase the sex drive.
Who can forget chocolate for dessert! The Aztecs connected chocolate with the goddess of fertility. Trying to stay away from chocolate? That is okay. Try a summer fruit salad consisting of strawberries, raspberries, guavas, kiwi, and grapes. Filled with antioxidants and vitamin C, these fruits keep the sex glands moving fast. Don’t forget to add a dollop of whipped cream to the top.
