Forget Bed: 8 More Interesting Places to have Sex

Sounds like you need to add a little excitement to your going-stale sex life.
“When couples have sex in the same place at the same time, they tend to slip into a sex routine which can get a little boring,” explains sex therapist Dr. Jane L. Somers. “Men start to think they have an erectile dysfunction problem and women turn to sexual arousal drugs like Womera to increase their libidos.”
The solution, according to Dr. Somers, is a lot simpler than most couples realize, and that is: Get out of the bedroom! Here are some of her suggestions:
1. In the car. You’ll get privacy here (depending on where you park-yes you need to park!), but not much room. Classic missionary or girl on top may be all your backseat can handle.
2. In your parents’ bed. We didn’t say not to do it in a bed, just not your bed!
3. At your local park. Preferably a big park and preferably after dark…or maybe not.
4. On the kitchen floor. A playful romp on the kitchen floor is a bit cliché, but will do the trick to spice up your sex life. In fact, speaking of spices, while you’re in the kitchen….
5. In a thick forest. You may think that doing it outside is doing it outside, but you’ll be able to get a lot more privacy (and therefore strip down a lot more!) in a forest than in your neighborhood park. Don’t forget the bug spray!
6. In the laundry room. You run a huge risk of getting caught, especially if you live in a big apartment building…but isn’t that part of the fun?
7. In the bathtub or shower. This is a good fall-back venue since it’s always available and you lose the yikes-what-if-we-get-caught element. But it’s also foolproof. Sex in the shower is always steamy…literally! Get some yummy smelling suds for a sexy bubble bath and a soapy rubdown. Since water can dry out your nether-region, depriving you of your natural lubrication, you’ll want to bring a silicone-based lube along with you.
